What do you get?
A bunch of crap.
In the issue just released, I outline my evil plot to visit Graceland this weekend in Memphis if I play my cards right. I travel there to meet up with the wife and kids who have been visiting relatives in Alabama. It was my suggestion we meet at Elvis' house.
A roundup of what I consider to be the best content of the blog this past week. The Google Earth stuff was particularly cool. Somehow, looking at the Cedar Rapids "5 Seasons Tree" sculpture from 4 miles up still doesn't make it look less ugly. I also included latitude and longitude coordinates to my house in case anyone with Google Earth wants to see how well I take care of the lawn.
This is the last post of the week via text input. I'm going to experiment with some audio posts and try a live blog of my travels through Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Tennessee. At various interesting intervals of my trip, I'll post audio updates to the blog by phone. I have no idea what I'll post, but I figure what the heck.
How to participate -
Each post will have an embedded audioplayer. Just click on the play button to listen to my silliness. Check back often for updates.
It should be quite the experiment. Ain't technology wonderful?
